Clinical application of modular flexible ureteroscope combined with holmium laser for the treatment of urinary tract stones.

【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the value of clinical application of the modular flexible ureteroscope combined with holmium laser in the treatment of urinary tract stones. Methods A total of 120 urolithiasis patients were collected. The usage of modular flexible ureteroscope combined holmium laser lithotripsy was taken and the treatment outcomes and complications were observed. Results The successful entering of the ureteroscope at the first time of the surgery was in 107 cases，with a success rate of 89. 1%（107/120）. The stones were found and crushed in 102 cases，with lithotriptic time of 35 ~120 min. Stone clearance rate was 85. 0%（102/120）. The total operative time was 45 ~158 min，with average（83. 9 ±23. 8）min. Total hospitalization time was 2 ~8 d. The stone free rate was 94. 9%（93/107）3 months after surgery. All patients had no severe complications. Conclusion Modular flexible ureteroscope combined holmium laser lithotripsy is effective operation with few complications and shorter hospitalization time for the treatment of urinary calculi.
