The clinical study of propranolol combined with laser in the refractory infantile hemangioma

Objective:
To evaluate the clinical efficacy of propranolol given orally combined with Cynergy dual-wavelength laser in the refractory infantile hema ngioma.

Methods:
30 cases of children followed by A therapy, first were used with propranolol 1-2 mg/kg/d by oral application until no significant effect occur,and then were taken laser therapy. 31 cases of children followed by B therapy : all patientswere treated with Cynergy dual-wavelength laser in their skin lesions after they taken medicine with one week( the same dose and method as A therapy) . Observe the size and color of tumor and record it by photograph to assess the efficacy。

Results:
A group were cured after 14 months of treatment. And B group were cured after 9 months of treatment. So,the B group treatment need less time than the A group way to cure the IH (P>0. 05) . The adverse effects after medication were observed and managed according

Conclusion:
The treatment by propranolol given orally combined with Cynergy dual-wavelength laser is better than the treatment of Cynergy dualwavele ngth laser after taken pronolol orally until no significant effect occur .
